POSTER PRESENTATION

  • Individual event

  • Theme : Catalysis in everyday life

  • Abstracts have to be emailed to nitthorizon19@gmail.com by 21st September, 2019 with subject ''Poster Presentation-Name of the participant, Name of the College''.

  • The abstract has to be sent as a word file (.docx). The maximum word-count is 200.

  • Headline : 14pt-Bold-Centered , Content : 12pt , Font : Times New Roman

  • Shortlisted Participants will be intimated by e-mail and they should respond to the mail within three days, otherwise their participation will be cancelled. 

  • Poster Size : 1m x 1m

  • Participants will be evaluated on the basis of the authenticity of the work, the quality of the presentation and knowledge of the matter presented.

  • The duration for presentation is 8 minutes (6 minute presentation + 2 minute external-review)

  • Judges' discretion is final.

 CHEM-SUDOKU

  • Two participants  per team

  • A preliminary round may be conducted and 5 teams will be selected  for final  round

  • This event test your presence of mind ,chemistry vocabulary and knowledge

  • Maximum of  4 teams are allowed  from each college

  • Decision of organiser /judges  will be final and binding

TREASURE TROVE

  •  All teams must have at least 2 members and no more than 4 members 

  • Teams must stay together during the treasure hunt and are encouraged to  work together to solve clue                                                                   

  • Each team will be given a clue booklet at the beginning of the treasure hunt 

  • Each clue once solved will lead you to an another location

  • The team which is able to find the treasure first will be declared winner

  • Disqualification will result from any of the following-

  •  Use of mobile phones/Gps  tracker

  •  Damaging any property

  • Interfering  with other teams in any way

  • Copying from other teams 

  • Stealing from other teams

CHEM-TUNES

  • 3 or 4 participants per team.

  • One team per college

  • Time limit-3 to 4 minutes

  • Musical instruments/karaoke are allowed

  • Any kind of slangs in words leads to be disqualification

  • Lyrics  should be relevant to the given topic

  • TOPICS:-Any topic related to chemistry for example (Periodic table,Spectroscopy,Name reactions & Analytical chemistry)

CHEM-E-TRIX

  • Two participants per team.

  • Preliminary round(s ) will be  conducted for choosing the final teams

  • This event is based on fun games and  test  the basic knowledge of chemistry

  • Maximum 4 teams are allowed from each college

  • Decision will be made by judges for winner

MR. & MS. HORIZON

  •  Any number of participants from all institutes are allowed.

  • It will consist of two rounds which will include question-answer and talent round. You are allowed to bring your own accessories or instruments to enhance your performance.

  • You will be allowed to showcase your hidden talents.

  • The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
